Hear Garth Brooks’ Powerful and Inspiring Speech to Lubbock Teammates Kids

Garth Brooks gave an incredible inspiring speech to the Teammates kids at Texas Tech’s Jones AT&T Stadium Sunday morning in between shows on his World Tour stop here in Lubbock.

Finding powerful words for these kids in the middle of such a busy weekend speaks volumes about the singer’s caring and humanitarian spirit.

“Love your teammates. Love your sport. Love yourself. Love yourself means…to do right if you know everybody else is asking you to do wrong. That’s loving yourself right there….Love one another, that’s the message for today, alright,” Brooks told the dozens of kids.

Brooks also told the kids about how the coaches are like their family. He finished by asking them to join together with a big loud shout of ‘teammates’ in unison.

This is a very cool, very powerful heartfelt message from Garth Brooks. You will also find this theme front and center on his Inside Studio G talks on Facebook Live every Monday night.

Lubbock was blown away by his incredible five shows in four days this past week at United Supermarkets Arena. There’s much more to see from this country legend! See below for more Garth Brooks interviews and videos in Lubbock.
