In June 2012, Mark Ysasaga was taken from his family and this world. The Lubbock teen would have graduated this spring with the class of 2016. And now, his family and friends want Ysasaga to have a chair, cap and gown at Coronado High School's graduation ceremony.

Let's help his family get him that chair.

There is a petition on Change.org to make this happen. As of this blog, there are almost 3,000 signatures. Here's what the petition says:

As most of you know, Anna Maria Ysasaga-Cuevas's son, Mark Anthony Ysasaga, was taken from from her in June of 2012, nearly 4 years ago. This past June his body was recovered and an investigation into his death began. Anna and her family should be preparing to watch Mark Anthony graduate from Coronado High School next month, instead they are waiting to be able to bury their child and to face his killers in court. Many of Mark Anthony's friends and their parents have requested that an extra chair with a cap and gown be placed among the students at graduation in memory of a life taken by a cruel senseless act of violence. Sadly, this request was denied by the school. Lets get the school to reconsider this decision and allow these students and their families to honor the memory of their friend one final time please make suggestions in the comments. #achair4MarkAnthonyYsasaga
