Houston Astros Break Six-Game Losing Streak, Beat the Angels 7-6

The Houston Astros broke a six-game losing streak Tuesday night defeating the Los Angeles Angels 7-6 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

The Astros used two RBI from Jose Altuve and three RBI from Chris Carter to pace the Astros in the win for only their fifth home win in 17 games.

The Angels would rally in the 8th to pull within a run, but Jose Veras would shut the Angels down in the 9th to secure the victory for Houston.

The Astros and Angels play tonight a 7:10 in Game two of their three game series in Houston.
