The Houston Astros on Monday added another arm to their bullpen.  Matt Albers will sign a one-year contract with the Astros, according to MLB.com

Last season, Albers pitched for the Cleveland Indians. In 2013, Albers had a record of 3-1 with a 3.14 ERA in 63 innings pitched over 56 games. Albers also finished 21 games for Cleveland but none of them were save situations. Before joining the Indians in 2013, Albers previously pitched for the Red Sox, Diamondbacks, Orioles & Astros. He is a Houston native and started his career with the Astros in 2006.

Albers will be the Astros second veteran signing for their bullpen this offseason. The Astros brought back Chad Qualls last week.
