Houston Astros Win Fifth Game In a Row in 5-4 Victory over the Los Angeles Angels

Make it five in a row for the Houston Astros.

Carlos Pena and Carlos Corporan hit home runs in the  Astros' 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Astros starter Jordan Lyles earned the victory for Houston throwing five plus innings with with five strikeouts and giving up two runs.

The Astros got the scoring started in the top of the first with a run and taking the lead again in the fifth and sixth inning for a 3-1 lead.

Houston goes for the four-game sweep this afternoon over the Angels. 0-2 Erik Beddard takes the mound for the Astros against 1-8 Angels hurler Joe Blanton.

First pitch tonight is set for 9:05.
