The NFL Thursday night released the 2013 schedules for all 32 teams.  The Texans will have at least four national appearances on television, including the back-half of the ESPN Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week 1.

The Texans will try to make the playoffs for the third consecutive season after being bounced out of the playoffs by New England Patriots.

Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak said that opening the season on the road is change from years past. "The first thing for me is that it changes our training camp a little bit. I think it's a good opener," Kubiak said to HoustonTexans.com.
