Houston Texas Rule WR Johnson Out for 3rd Straight Game

As anticipated the Houston Texans have ruled out Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson for Sunday’s pivotal AFC South game against the Tennessee Titans that will decide who holds sole possession of first place in the division. Full back James Casey however is listed as a game-time decision despite not practicing all week.
Johnson is continuing to recover from the surgery he had to help the healing process of the torn hamstring he suffered in the win against Pittsburgh back on Oct. 2nd. Casey meanwhile suffered a torn pectoral muscle a week later in the loss to Oakland.
“He’s come a long ways,” Kubiak said of Casey. “He didn’t practice this week, but he’s a guy I feel comfortable could play, so I’ll watch him Sunday morning and try to make a decision on him. He’s been a very important piece of what we’ve been doing from the start. We need to get him back on the field.”
The Texans head into Sundays game siting at 3-3 after back to back losses, while the Titans are coming off a bye week sitting at 3-2.
