Ian Kinsler homered twice and Colby Lewis pitched 6 2/3 innings giving up 2 runs in a 3-2 Texas Rangers  victory over the Houston Astros.

Kinsler hit a home run to lead off the game and then homered in his next at-bat in the 3rd inning to give Texas a 3-0 lead and it would be all it needed scoring wise . It was the eighth multi-home run game of Kinsler's career.

Lewis (7-7) pitched six scoreless innings before giving up a home run to Carlos Lee and Clint Barnes singled in a run in the seventh inning to cut the Rangers lead to one before Lewis was lifted in relief. He allowed six hits and struck out six as the Rangers won their eighth straight game in Houston.

Brett Myers (3-7) took the loss for Houston giving up three runs on six hits through 7 innings.

Neftali Feliz pitched a scoreless ninth inning for his 16th save.
