Congratulations to Frankie Galicia of Lubbock, who took on and accomplished this big eating challenge.

Galicia had to drive all the way to Noble, Oklahoma to take this Chicken Fry Steak Challenge, which a friend on Facebook dared him to take.

This challenge is not for the faint of heart. Over the years, hundreds have attempted it, but only 28 have succeeded. For winning, Galicia, who completed the challenge in only 48 minutes, gets bragging rights, a t-shirt and a free meal.

At Kendall's Restaurant in Noble, this challenge is served up for $25 and must be started before 7 p.m. Participants must eat a salad, a huge chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes or fries, green beans, a biscuit and cinnamon rolls in under one hour.

Galicia had strategized, with the help of his wife who is a registered CNA. It takes your body 20 minutes to realize what you've eaten, she advised him, so he decided to eat the tremendous chicken fried steak first as quickly as possible. He went into the competition, with nothing eaten since a small meal the night before.

This is not Galicia's first challenge. He took on the Big Texan in Amarillo 72 oz. Steak Challenge and completed it, finishing off that impressive steak, shrimp cocktail, a baked potato, salad and a roll with butter inside of an hour.
