Infamous Amarillo Sox Mascot Costume to be Sold

The controversial Amarillo Sox mascot costume from this summer can now be yours!

That’s what Amarillo Sox general manager Mark Lee did with infamous Sox mascot uniform, which was gone almost as quickly as it arrived after a disastrous debut Friday that prompted laughs, complaints and catcalls. The R-rated uniform is back at its California manufacturer for a makeover.

The Amarillo Sox have put the costume up for sale on eBay and the minimum bid is $5,000. $5,000 might seem to be way too much to bid on a novelty item, but at least the buyer gets free shipping.
