James Smith of the Times-Picayune Talks Texas Tech Football Recruit Edward Williams [AUDIO]
February 22, 2013 9:45 AM The story of Texas Tech Red Raider Football recruit Edward Williams continues to get stranger as each day passes.
Williams is a linebacker out of New Orleans and decided to enroll at Texas Tech in June, or so we thought.
Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger of the Sports Shack interviewed James Smith of NOLA.com to talk about the Williams story.
Smith wrote a story on Williams choosing the Red Raiders, but soon received a phone call from Williams’ father on attending Texas Tech.

“I was contacted by the father telling me that it would not be the case [Williams attending Tech].
He seems quite frustrated with the whole situation… he made sure to let me know that his son would not be signing with Texas Tech this week or when he turned 18,” Smith said.
