Jeff Johnson from ShutdownInning.com joined The Sports Shack with Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger to discuss the Texas Rangers and other MLB news.

Johnson touched on the new book that the SDI Mafia relased call Shutdown Ending The Recap of 2012 Texas Rangers Season and that all the proceeds from the book will go to the Sandy Hook Tragedy Fund.  He talked about the Josh Hamilton trade to the Los Angeles Angels.  He talked about the comments that Josh Hamilton said during the press conference and that he was surprised that he didn't give the Rangers more gratitude.

He also talked about how the Rangers needed a left hand bat to fill the gap Hamilton left and he felt that Carlos Beltran from the St. Louis Cardinals could fill that gap.  He talked about how the SDI Mafia has reached out to other radio stations across the country.  He finally talked about other MLB news
