Jerry Gray Selected to College Football Hall of Fame, LCU No. 1 Seed, and Rangers Thumped – Fan Rundown for May 7, 2013
The National Football Foundation announced online today the inductees for the 2013 class for the College Football Hall of Fame. Former Texas Longhorns Safety and Estacado High standout Jerry Gray were selected for the 2013 class. A great honor for a man who left Lubbock for college, but still comes back to benefit the Hub City each year. Congratulations, Coach Gray.
The Texas Rangers have lost four games to teams from the city of Chicago this season. Without games against the Cubs or White Sox the Rangers would be 18-8. Scott Feldman threw another gem last night and did it against his former team with seven shutout innings after his last start throwing a complete game. Texas starts a two-game series at Milwaukee tonight.
LCU earned a No. 1 seed in their last NAIA Baseball tournament in the Claremore Regional. LCU won the SAC Tournament this past weekend and lead the NAIA in seven different batting categories.
