Eventhough the Dallas Cowboys are 2-3 on the year, owner Jerry Jones still feels that the Dallas Cowboys can win the Super Bowl this year.

According to profootballtalk.com, Jones told KRLD-FM in Dallas that he felt the Cowboys could compete even after the bad performance in the loss against the Baltimore this past Sunday.

"We’ve got to have some wins to make sure we’re in the hunt, but I keep pointing out we’re fresh off a world champion that won nine of 16 ballgames last year, we know you want your team as healthy and as in sync as it can be as we get on into the end of the season. We know we’ve played one division game and won it. We got the Giants coming back in here. We know that’s going to be a big game for us. All of those things give us the chance to take a team that is evolving into a team that can compete for the championship not next year, this year."

Dallas has only managed a record of 122-123 since 1997 which includes only two playoff wins since Super Bowl XXX.

Hopefully Dallas can work towards that goal this Sunday when they take on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.  Kickoff is at Noon.
