Matt Forte ran for 100 yards and scored three touchdowns, and the New York Jets beat the Buffalo Bills, 37-31, in Orchard Park, N.Y. on Thursday night. New York (1-1) broke a five-game losing streak to Buffalo (0-2) with the victory.

The Bills closed within a score when quarterback Tyrod Taylor connected with Mike Gillislee on an 18-yard touchdown with 1:17 to play, but Brandon Marshall caught Dan Carpenter's onside kick to squash the rally.
