Josh Dill of Lubbock Sports joined the Sports Shack on Tuesday to discuss security at sports events in light of the tragedy in Boston Monday afternoon.

"We don't feel our events would be targeted for something like this, a terrorist event. You can't prevent crazy from happening,"  Dill said on Tuesday morning.

Any event we're in charge of or in the planning stages of, we try to encourage and have a presence of security. We try have people at our event who will run toward the chaos, not from it."

3 people died and 170 were injured in the Boston Marathon bombing Monday during one of Boston's favorite holidays, Patriot's Day. The parties responsible have not been apprehended for the attack.
