Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz came back to the Texas Rangers line up last night and came back with power in the Rangers 4-0 Victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Hamilton in his first at bat back off the DL and second pitch barely inched a solo home run to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead the 1st. His first home run of the season.

Cruz struck out swinging in hist first at bat, but responded with a 2 run homer of his own in the 6th to shake off the rust and extend the Rangers lead to 3-0.

Alexi Ogando was on the mound for the Rangers and threw the shut out. Ogando improved on his 1.81 ERA and improved his record to 5 -0 while he pitched a complete game.

In an interesting turn of events White Sox catcher  Pierzynski reached into the stands to try to catch an Adiran Beltre foul ball in the sixth inning and found himself up close and personal with former President George W. Bush. The ball landed harmlessly on the guard rail in the owner's box where former president Bush was sitting with owner Nolan Ryan and their wives, Laura and Ruth.

The Rangers improve to 25-23 and hold a 1/2 game lead over the Los Angeles Angels.

The Rangers and White Sox will play again tonight in Arlington with first pitch at 7:05.
