Texas Ranger fans circled Friday, April 5th on their calendars ever since former Ranger star Josh Hamilton signed with the Los Angeles Angels.

Yesterday, fans let him know how passionate they are about baseball and how much they don’t appreciate him.

Hamilton was in mid-season form on Friday swinging at bad pitches and going 0 for 4 in a key division game where the Rangers rallied to win 3-2.

The Angels are now 1-3 on the season with Hamilton hitting sub .100 so far. Texas is 3-1 and winner of their last three games.

After the game, Hamilton said in the post-game press conference that a teammate told him in the dugout, “Where was Jesus got-after the most? His hometown.

Hamilton continued, “Baseball-wise, this is my hometown.”

Hamilton didn’t help his cause in the off-season saying that fans in Dallas are spoiled and “not a true baseball town.”

The Rangers and Angels play today and Sunday night in Arlington.
