Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball last night lost to Kansas 69-64 at the United Spirit Arena.  Chynna Brown led the Lady Raiders with 21 points and she became the first Lady Raider this season to score at least 20 points in two different games.

Kansas had a 31-28 lead at halftime and lost that lead early on in the second half.

The Lady Raiders had a 5 point lead over Kansas with 8:30 minutes left in the game, but Kansas’ Natalie Knight made two consecutive 3-pointers that ended up tying the game at 56.  Kansas then went on a 16-6 run to seal up the win.

Angel Goodrich led Kansas with 20 points and Aishah Sutherland contributed 15 points.

The Lady Raiders record is now 17-10 (5-10) and their next game is Saturday at Texas A&M
