Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball will host Kansas State in the Regular season series finale starting Thursday night in Lubbock. First pitch Thursday is set for 6:30pm from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

Both schools are toward the bottom of the Big 12 Conference standings as Texas Tech sits at 7th place with a 6-15 record while K-State is in last place with a 5-16 record. Tech owns a ½ game lead over 8th place Kansas going into this weekend. Duke von Schamann takes the mound Thursday night for the Red Raiders in the series opener. Von Schamann is 6-3 this season with a 1.71 ERA.

Texas Tech is in need of a series victory this weekend to make the Big 12 Tournament. Tech is currently in 7th place in the Big 12 with a 1/2 game lead over the Kansas Jayhawks and a 1 game lead over last place Kansas State.
