Collin Klein scored four touchdowns and Arthur Brown returned a Texas Tech interception 37 yards for another score as No. 4 Kansas State roughed up No. 15 Texas Tech 55-24 on Saturday.

The Red Raiders drew first blood when Seth Doege found Eric Ward for a 32-yard touchdown pass for the quick 7-0 lead. The Texas Tech defense stopped the Wildcats with punts on the first two possessions, but after that, they would score on seven consecutive possessions en route to the win.

Klein was 19 of 26 for 233 yards and two touchdowns, and had 83 yards and two more scores on the ground to make him the clear Heisman Trophy front-runner.

Wildcat Running Back John Hubert added 64 yards and two rushing scores and Angelo Pease also scored for Kansas State, which came into the game trailing only Alabama and Florida in the BCS standings.

Doege threw for 331 yards and two scores and Kenny Williams added 81 yards rushing for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech will face Texas next Saturday while K-State hosts resurgent Oklahoma State.
