After a disappointing loss to TCU Saturday morning at home, Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury was asked during the school's weekly press conference if he was reevaluating the quarterback position with the Texas game coming up.

While Kingsbury kinda gave the question a little do-si-do and talked about how the Red Raiders could get better as an offense, he also took a majority of the blame. Most of the decisions and calls he's made in 2017 have not panned out inside the red zone.

However, this has me wondering if replacing quarterback Nic Shimonek would actually do some good for the Red Raiders. If you look at the stats, Shimonek is actually having a pretty decent year. He's thrown for 3,400 yards and has 28 touchdowns to eight interceptions. It isn't like he's had a terrible year. I think it's more of the inefficiency when it really matters, like in the red zone.

It's way too late in the season for a quarterback change. If Kingsbury was going to switch, it would have been done after the loss to Iowa State.

What do you think? Do you think the Red Raiders should opt for another quarterback with potentially two games left this season?
