Kobe Bryant -- five-time NBA champion, one-time MVP, future Hall of Famer and, apparently, amateur sex therapist.

In a new post on Complex, 18 journalists who have covered the Lakers relayed their favorite story about the soon-to-be retired superstar.

Eric Pincus, who's covered the team for well over a decade, wins "most interesting tale" for the advice Bryant once gave him about making sure you have a boy when trying to have kids:

There was one thing, years ago, I had two girls and we were talking about how we were going to try to have a third. And, he told me that to have a boy, I need to keep my socks on with my wife…that was his advice. I did not listen, and I have a third girl.”

Ironically, Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, have two daughters, so, depending on how you look at it, he either knows exactly what he's talking about or he has no clue.
