The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team is back in action on Saturday when they play host to Oklahoma State at 5 from the United Spirit Arena. This will be the second to last game for the Lady Raiders at the USA.

The Lady Raider basketball team enters the game with the Cowgirls coming off of a tough loss to 5th ranked Texas A&M on the road on Tuesday. The Lady Raiders though have won two of their last three games including knocking off then top ranked Baylor and then 20th ranked Iowa State.

Tech enters the game at 19-8 on the season and 6-7 in Big 12 play while the Cowgirls come to the Hub City at 15-11 on the year and 3-10 in the Big 12. This will be the second and final meeting between the two schools during the regular season. The Cowgirls claimed the surprising win over the Lady Raiders earlier this month in Stillwater.

The 19 wins for the Lady Raiders so far on the season is the most win totals in a single season under head coach Kristy Curry. Should the Lady Raiders claim the win on Saturday it will mark their first 20 win season since the 2004-05 season when Tech was 24-8 under Coach Marsha Sharp.

Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will be meeting for the 46th time in school history. The Lady Raiders hold the all-time series lead at 27-18. Oklahoma State though has won the last three games in the city of Lubbock.

Saturday’s match up between the two schools will also be broadcasted live on FSN. Brenda VanLengen and Debbie Antonelli will be on the call for the Lady Raiders for FSN.
