Rayven Brooks scored a career-high 26 points as the Texas Tech Lady Raiders  escaped Manhattan, Kansas 74-68 with an overtime victory over the Kansas State Wildcats Sunday.

The  Wildcats ended regulation on a 22-9 run, including a 7-0 run by senior Hayley Texada, erasing a 13-point  Lady Raider lead, forcing senior Amber Battle to knock down a bucket to send the game into overtime tied at 62.

In the extra period, Tech jumped out quickly going on a 9-0 run including a 3-pointer by Brooks on their way to scoring 12 points while holding the Wildcats to only six.

In addition to Brooks 26, Battle added 14 points and eight rebounds and freshman Dayo Olabode contributed 16  for the Lady Raiders.

It was the first win in Manhattan since 2010 and first time to win back-to-back Big 12 Conference games this season.

Tech plays host to the Baylor Bears Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena.
