The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team claimed a thrilling Big 12 win Saturday, from the United Spirit Arena, as they beat Kansas State 68-66 on a last second shot in double overtime.  Read more about the game, and catch some great buzzer beating shots, after the jump.

The Lady Raiders were led by Sophomore Chynna Brown who had 13 points including the game winning lay up with just a tenth of a second left on the clock. Also having great games for the Lady Raiders were Senior Teena Wickett and Junior Kierra Mallard who both finished the game with double doubles. Wickett had 11 points and 12 rebounds while Mallard chipped in with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

The win improved the Lady Raiders to 16-1 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in Big 12 play. The 3-0 start in the Big 12 is the best start in conference play for the Lady Raiders under head coach Kristy Curry. The Lady Wildcats, with the loss, fell to 11-5 on the season and 1-2 in the conference.

Tech will now leave the friendly confines of the United Spirit Arena for their next two games as they hit the road for a pair of Big 12 matchups. First up for the Lady Raiders will be Oklahoma on Wednesday night. Tip off between the Lady Raiders and Lady Sooners is set for 7, Wednesday night.
