LeBron James has somehow, some way, led the injury-decimated Cleveland Cavaliers not only to the NBA Finals, but to a 2-games-to-1 lead over the top regular-season team, the Golden State Warriors. If the King and his men can pull off two more wins, it will be James' third title victory, but unquestionably his greatest triumph.

Intriguingly, video of a 2001 interview a then-16-year-old James did with Kirk Herbstreit (known better these days as ESPN and ABC's top college football analyst) in which he discussed his desire to take home a third straight high school championship. James was a sophomore at St. Vincent–St. Mary's in Akron, Ohio, at the time.

It's fascinating to witness the younger, boyish-looking James (he was just a boy then, after all), before he added on what seems like 100 pounds of muscle, decked himself out in multiple tattoos and sported a, shall we say, adventurous hairline. Watching him dribble through double teams of high schoolers, you almost feel bad for those kids. It's just plain unfair. Then again, they can always say they played against one of the best of all time.

And if James and the Cavs win it all this year, they may have to drop the "one of" part of that.
