Lubbock Christian University Takes Down Oklahoma Baptist University 89-58

Lubbock Christian University continues its streak of solid play as the Lady Chaps took down Oklahoma Baptist University 89-58.

LCU had five players in double figures for the third straight game. Nicole Hampton had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Kelsey Canavan had 16 points and 12 rebounds for double doubles to help Emily Atkins who had a game high 19 points. LCU is off to a 6-0 start in conference play for the first time since the 2004-2005 season. The win gave LCU seven straight victories and they improve to 9-3 overall.

LCU returns to action Saturday against St. Gregory's at 1 p.m. inside Rip Griffin Center.
