For a second consecutive week, the Sooner Athletic Conference issued their Baseball Player of the Week to a member of the Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals, as Karl Seiter was recognized for his efforts last week.

Seiter helped guide the No.4 Chaparrals to a three-game sweep over No.22 York College.  He went .625 (5/8) from the plate with a 1.250 slugging percentage. He belted his first career triple during the series and hit his first home run of the season. He was 2-for-3 with runners in scoring position and was able to advance runner(s) on base six times out of seven at-bats.

Last week, Chaps catcher Jason Fisch was honored by the SAC.  LCU (4-3) remains home this weekend with a three-game series against Hillsboro, Kan. based Tabor College, beginning with a 3 p.m. Friday doubleheader at Hays Field.
