Lubbock’s First-Ever Food Truck Fest Happens Friday, Oct. 16

The first Lubbock Food Truck Festival takes place Friday, October 16, outside of the Buddy Holly Center with 13 of the city’s new roving eateries providing the feast.

Entrance is free, but the food is not.

Parking shuttles will take guests to parking lots scattered around the downtown area. Pets are not allowed but blankets and chairs are welcome so you can picnic.

The Kinky Wizards will perform from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Food trucks were approved this year by the Lubbock City Council and recently received approval to expand operations into Lubbock's medical district.
