Lubbock Police Continue Search for Assault Suspect Carlos Martinez

Lubbock Police are continuing to search for a suspect that allegedly injured three officers on Thursday afternoon.
Thirty-two-year-old Carlos Martinez is accused of driving his SUV into three officers at the Del Estrado Townhomes.
As of 9:30 a.m. Friday morning (April 7), LPD is searching for Martinez in the area of 73rd Street and Indiana Avenue.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Martinez’s girlfriend, 35-year-old Amy Lynam, was arrested in connection with the case and charged with tampering with evidence. Her bond has been set at $25,000 and, as of Friday morning, she is still in custody at the Lubbock County Jail.
Martinez has been charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault Against a Peace Officer. He’s considered armed and dangerous.
