A vigil for Mark Anthony Ysasaga, the missing Lubbock teenager who police believe has been murdered, will be held at Coronado High School.

The vigil, which is being held by Ysasaga's family, is set for Saturday, May 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. It is open to the public.

According to police, evidence found inside a Lubbock home suggests Ysasaga was murdered there. However, police have yet to recover his body.

Twenty-year-old Jose Angel Simental was arrested and charged with Ysasaga's murder in May.

Ysasaga's story has touched the Lubbock community, with a Facebook page called Justice for Mark Anthony Ysasaga boasting over 18,000 likes. The teen was first reported missing in June 2012.  He was 15 years old at the time of his disappearance.
