The Miami Heat took down the San Antonio Spurs last night 105-100.

Lebron James had 23 points to lead the Heat in scoring.  Ray Allen had 20 points including a clutch three-pointer with 22.6 seconds left to lead the Heat to victory.  With the win, Miami remains undefeated at home.

On the other side of the court, Gary Neal had 20 points off of the bench to lead the Spurs in scoring.  The Spurs were without stars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green who head coach Gregg Popovich decided to rest because of a long road trip.

NBA Commissioner David Stern did not approve with that decision and has decided to hit the Spurs with substantial sanctions because of it.  Stern also issued a statement apologizing to all NBA fans.

San Antonio returns home to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.  Tip off is at 7:30pm.
