Microsoft released a new advertisement for the new update of its web browser Internet Explorer.

The video, posted above, tries to get the kids of Generation Y who now use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to remember the great times of the 90's.

The ad wants you to remember playing Pogs, raising a Giga Pet, or dying of Dysentery along the Oregon Trail, but to know that both you and their web browser have grown up now.

Can this ad help turnaround the consumer's view of IE as being stale and a step behind other web browsers or remind them that some things should remain in the 90's, like Crystal Pepsi?

This is a clever video, but I'll stick with Chrome for now.
