Mike Leach Returns to Lubbock for Book Signing [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Former Texas Tech Red Raider Football coach Mike Leach returned to Lubbock today to sign copies of his new book, Swing Your Sword. The book signing took place at the new Barnes & Noble Bookstore at the South Plains Mall.

By our estimation about 1,000 people were there at the event, which ended up starting early by about 10 minutes because of the large number of people in line. 1340 The Fan talked to a number of those waiting in line and the consensus was that Leach was loved and most hated to see his tenure at Texas Tech end.

In the book, Leach talks about his experiences coaching football and gives his side of the story concerning his controversial 2009 firing from Texas Tech.

Leach is still pursuing litigation against Texas Tech concerning money he says he is owed from his contract and a second lawsuit against ESPN and Spaeth Communications for libel and slander.

Here are two videos from the book signing.
