Minor League Hockey Fight Turns Into Epic Goalie Throwdown
While the National Hockey League is still locked out, hockey fans looking for some live puck action can turn to minor league hockey.
Earlier in the week, the Pensacola Ice Flyers and Mississippi Surge of the Southern Professional Hockey League gained national attention for a goalie fight that happened on Military Appreciation Night. After a small skirmish broke out in final minutes of the third period, Ice Flyers goalie Ross MacKinnon and Surge goalie Kiefer Smiley faced off at center ice.
Fun. Now take off the pads and do it for real.
