Molly Franklin has joined the Texas Tech soccer staff as the Director of Soccer Operations.

"Molly will be a terrific addition to our staff," head coach Tom Stone said. "She comes to Texas Tech with previous experience in this role and a wealth of experiences to draw upon from her own college career. Molly has a dynamic personality and a strong desire to learn and move forward in her college coaching career and we are excited about her positive impact on our program in a multitude of areas."

Franklin joins the Red Raiders after serving in the same capacity for the University of Missouri during the 2011 season.

She brings coaching experience to the position after serving as head coach for three club teams within Iowa Rush soccer organization in Des Moines, Iowa in 2010. Franklin also played collegiately at Clemson.

As a player Franklin was named to the Soccer Buzz Southeast Region All-Freshman team in 2006. She lettered four years for the Tigers from 2006-2009.
