Yesterday we discussed the disappointments so far in the young NBA season. Today we'll take a look at some pleasant surprises.

The second week of the 2012-13 NBA season is now under way, and we're wondering if some of the teams that started off great will continue on that path. One of the biggest surprises so far is the New York Knicks. Last season, they barely made it into the playoffs (only to be eliminated by Miami, 4-1), but they aren't letting that memory stick around. The Knicks are off to their first 3-0 start since 1999.

Another pleasant surprise are the Milwaukee Bucks at 2-0. Dwight Howard's former team, the Orlando Magic are currently in first place with a 2-0 record, while his new team, the Lakers, are off to a rough start at 1-3.
