Nelson Cruz pushed the Texas Rangers to victory over the Los Angeles Angles 13-6. Cruz hit his third career grand slam, busting the game open for the Rangers. Elvis Andrus also had a great game for the Rangers, as he tied a career high with four hits in the game.

In a bit of sad news coming out of the game, Rangers bench coach Jackie Moore was hospitalized during the game after he fell ill in the 6th inning. Moore apparently felt light headed during the game, and was brought to the hospital for further testing. Moore has had some involvement in the league for the last 55 years as a player, coach, or manager.

Also, for the Hamilton home run counters, the bat Josh Hamilton hit the four home runs with in the game against Baltimore broke last night. Sad day for a piece of history.

To cheer you back up though, take a look at Cruz hitting the walk off grand slam in the second game of the ALCS against the Tigers.
