November is that time of the year where we say what we're thankful for, and around here we're always thankful for new movies! This month is packed with action and even some family-friendly adventure, so get your butts ready to hit those theater seats.

November 2

'Flight-- Directed by Robert Zemeckis. Starring Denzel Washington, John Goodman, and Don Cheadle. Upon saving a flight from crashing, a pilot discovers some rather unsettling things about the way the aircraft malfunctioned.

'The Man with the Iron Fists' -- Directed by RZA. Starring RZA, Russell Crowe, and Lucy Liu. A blacksmith who makes weapons for other people becomes his town's only hope when enemies invade.

'Wreck-It Ralph' (3D) -- Directed by Rich Moore. Starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch, and Jack McBrayer. When a video game villain grows tired of playing the bad guy, he sets off to discover what else life has in store for him, but ends up joining forces with new friends to protect the arcade world from the ultimate baddie.

'The Bay' (Limited) -- Directed by Barry Levinson. Starring Kristen Connolly, Christopher Denham, and Jane McNeill. Parasitic sea creatures attack in this found footage mixer that takes place in a small coastal Maryland town.

'A Late Quartet' (Limited) -- Directed by Yaron Zilberman. Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener, and Christopher Walken. When they discover one of their own is dying, a quartet struggles to hold everything together for one last show.

'Jack and Diane' (Limited) -- Directed by Bradley Rust Gray. Starring Juno Temple, Riley Keough, and Kylie Minogue. Diane falls in love with Jack, but when her new lover has to move away, Diane's emotions turn monstrous.

November 9

'Nature Calls' -- Directed by Todd Rohal. Starring Johnny Knoxville, Maura Tierney, and Rob Riggle. Randy and Kirk are brothers who've never gotten along, but things go to the extreme when Randy takes over Kirk's son's sleepover for a wacky scouting trip.

'Skyfall' -- Directed by Sam Mendes. Starring Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Javier Bardem. M's past comes back to haunt her and puts James Bond's loyalty to the ultimate test in the latest 007 installment.

'The Comedy' (Limited) -- Directed by Rick Alverson. Starring Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, and Roxanne Ferris. An aging hipster listlessly waits for his ailing father to die and hangs out with his friends, who also meander aimlessly through their lives.

November 16

'Lincoln' -- Directed by Steven Spielberg. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Sally Field. This biopic chronicles the life of our nation's 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, and how he helped shape our nation.

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2' -- Directed by Bill Condon. Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. The 'Twilight' saga comes to a close as Bella embraces her new life as a vampire and must protect her new child and family from punishment by the sinister Volturi.

'Anna Karenina' (Limited) -- Directed by Joe Wright. Starring Keira Knightley, Jude Law, and Aaron Johnson. Aristocrat Anna Karenina has an affair with an affluent count in 19th century Russia in this adaptation of the classic novel.

November 21

'Life of Pi' (3D) -- Directed by Ang Lee. Starring Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, and Adil Hussain. A zookeeper's son finds himself adrift in the ocean with a Bengal tiger, hyena, zebra, and orangutan in this film based on the acclaimed novel of the same name.

'Red Dawn' -- Directed by Dan Bradley. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Peck, and Josh Hutcherson. In this remake, a group of teens band together to protect their town from a Korean military invasion.

'Rise of the Guardians' (3D) -- Directed by Peter Ramsey. Starring Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, and Chris Pine. Fabled holiday characters come together with the help of the rebellious Jack Frost to protect the world from an evil entity known as Pitch.

'Silver Linings Playbook' -- Directed by David O. Russell. Starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Robert De Niro. After he's released from a mental institution, a former teacher moves in with his parents and tries to repair his marriage with his ex-wife, but things get complicated when he meets a girl who's dealing with her own set of issues.

'Hitchcock' (Limited) -- Directed by Sacha Gervasi. Starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, and Jessica Biel. This biopic tracks famed master of mystery Alfred Hitchcock during the making of his beloved classic 'Psycho.'

'Rust & Bone' (Limited) -- Directed by Jacques Audiard. Starring Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts. A man named Ali goes to live with his sister and her husband and develops a deep bond with a killer whale trainer after she endures a terrible accident.

November 30

'Killing Them Softly' -- Directed by Andrew Dominik. Starring Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini, and Scoot McNairy. Based on the novel 'Cogan's Trade,' this film follows a professional enforcer investigating a mob heist that took place during a poker game.

'The Collection' (Limited) -- Directed by Marcus Dunstan. Starring Josh Stewart, Christopher McDonald, and Navi Rawat. The only survivor of a trap-happy serial killer known as "The Collector" must infiltrate the killer's home turf to help rescue a man's daughter from his clutches.
