New York Knicks Point Guard Jason Kidd Gets Arrested For DWI
Newly signed New York Knicks point guard Jason Kidd has been arrested for driving drunk in New York. Kidd allegedly crashed his 2010 Cadillac Escalade, hitting a pole and veering into the woods around 2 a.m.
Commenting on the accident, Kidd’s attorney, Ed Burke Jr, said in a statement that Kidd was returning from a charity function before his accident, pleaded not guilty to the DWI charge, and was awaiting further court proceedings. If convicted of a DWI the sentence careers up to one year in jail.
Things are not off to a great start for the newly revamped Knicks.
