Texas Tech Baseball (10-3) will face off against TCU (5-6) this Saturday and Sunday for a two-game non-conference series at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth. The series was originally scheduled for a Friday through Sunday three game series, but impending inclement weather forced the cancellation of the Friday game.

Texas Tech is coming off its fifth victory over a ranked opponent this season after it defeated No. 10 Arizona State on the road 8-4. TCU is currently on a three game winning streak after defeating Baylor 9-4 and Oklahoma State twice the previous weekend.

The strong suit for the Red Raiders have been the quality starts from the pitching staff and the relief pitching. The team ERA is at 2.66 with a combined record between the starters at 6-2. Tech has also held it opponents to six runs or fewer each game this season. Tech also has been potent at the plate with a team .286 batting average with 61 RBI and 5 home runs.
