No injuries were reported following a two vehicle accident in Northwest Lubbock on Sunday, December 6.

DPS reported the collision involving a semi-truck and a Landrover occurred in the 5100 block of U.S. Highway 84 near the Stripes Drive- In just before 4 a.m.

The semi, hauling cotton in an eastbound lane, crashed in to the westbound Landrover after the SUV committed a u-turn.

The semi jackknifed, spilling cotton all over the highway as it came to a stop in the median. The Landrover rolled an undisclosed amount of times before landing on its side.

No injuries were reported in the accident, and the driver of the Landrover was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
