Two golfers collided on the green on a North Texas golf course.

Forty-two-year-old Kevin Keo Sivilay (pictured above) and a group of friends were playing golf at at Indian Creek Golf Club in North Texas on Friday when someone in the group hit a ball onto the 16th hole. This breached standard gold etiquette as it sailed close to another group putting at the hole.

A member of the putting group, 27-year-old Michael Plumlee, threw the ball off of the green.

According to Carrollton police, onlookers saw Sivilay hit Plumee in the back of the head with his golf club. Officers believe he struck the victim multiple times with the fairway iron.

Plumlee was hospitalized with a brain injury and several broken ribs. Meanwhile, Sivilay was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
