The Oklahoma Sooners handed the Texas Tech Red Raider Basketball team their seventh consecutive loss.

The Sooners (17-8, 8-5 Big 12) won 86-71 behind 22 points from Steven Pledger and 21 points from Romero Osby.

The Red Raiders (9-15, 2-11 Big 12) were led by Josh Gray who dropped a career high 26 points in the loss. Jaye Crockett added 15 points for the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech trailed 44-36 at the half and pulled within four points with 15 minutes left in the game, but could not get any closer.

The Sooners shot 53% from the field and out re-bounded the Red Raiders 39 to 29. Texas Tech shot 41% from the field and committed only 10 turnovers in the loss.

The Red Raider front line disappeared as Jordan Tolbert chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds, but Dejan Kravic scored only 2 points and 2 rebounds in only 14 minutes of action.

Texas Tech hits the court the on Saturday traveling to Iowa State.
