The Oklahoma State Cowboys raced out to 28-7 lead with 10 minutes left in the 1st half and never looked back as they defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders 59-21 Saturday afternoon in Stillwater.

The Cowboys won their fourth consecutive game against the Red Raiders in the series as third string Clint Chelf managed the Cowboys attack going 11 of 21 for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns. Joseph Randle 17 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Red Raider quarterback Seth Doege was picked off twice and lost a snap over his head as he finished 24 of 36 for 230 yards and a touchdown.

The scoring began on the first drive of the game for Oklahoma State as they drove 12 plays over 75 yards, scoring on a 2 yard pass from sub JW Walsh to Kye Staley for a 7-0. The teams would exchange punts after that until Texas Tech embarked on a 6 play, 81 yard drive to tie the game at 7 on a 1 yard Eric Stephens run.

The Cowboys then scored 28 consecutive points for a 35-7 that would not be relinquished. Texas Tech falls to 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the Big 12 while Oklahoma State improves to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the Big 12.
