Lubbock Police are looking for the driver who crashed a car into a home during the early morning hours of Monday, August 17.

Around 1:50 a.m., a car crashed into a home on the 1600 block of 56th St., badly damaging the house and causing a required shut-off of gas, electricity and water.

The driver fled before police arrived on the scene.

No one inside the home was injured in the accident, and LPD continues to investigate.
