The Houston Astros climbed onto the back of Dallas Keuchel on Sunday, October 11 and he carried them to a 4-2 victory. That put them in a position to clinch that ALDS series today.

The Texas Rangers also played yesterday with the same result: A 2-1 series lead. The difference is that they had a 2-0 lead when the day started. Martin Perez took the loss, and, in a game that seemed like the Blue Jays scored 15, the Rangers lost 5-1.

Both the Rangers and the Astros have a chance to clinch today.

The Astros take Lance McCullers (6-7, 3.22 ERA) into the most important game of their season...until tomorrow. The Royals counter with Yordano Ventura (13-8, 4.08 ERA).

The Rangers will have to struggle through another dominant outing from a pitcher with overpowering 88 mph fastball in R.A. Dickey (11-11, 3.91 ERA) while throwing out Derek Holland (4-3, 4.91 ERA) who has an impressive playoff resume.

Both games have the Texas team playing at home. If either team loses, they will return to the opposing team's stadium to finish the series on Wednesday, October 14.
