The Texas Rangers dropped their second game in a row today to the Detroit Tigers in climatic fashion.  After Miguel Cabrera's walk off bases loaded single yesterday teammate Brandon Inge added his own bit of drama today by hitting a one-out solo shot in the bottom of the 9th inning off of Darren Oliver, the Rangers fifth pitcher of the afternoon, to give the Tigers the 3 to 2 win.

The Rangers scored their runs on RBI singles by Nelson Cruz(12) and David Murphy(4) in the top of the 6th. The Tigers struck back in the bottom of the inning on  successive doubles from Victor Martinez and Brennan Boesch. The Rangers Lowe then struck out Jhonny Peralta, but Alex Avila singled to put runners at the corners before Inge drove home the tying run with a sacrifice fly.

Texas will have Thursday off before opening up a three game weekend road series against the New York Yankees on Friday with first pitch scheduled for 6:05.
