The 2012-13 Texas Tech Athletics year is soon to wrap up in the next month.

Texas Tech Football finished the season at 8-5 with a bowl win over Minnesota in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas. Tommy Tuberville left Tech for Cincinnati and former Red Raider star Kliff Kingsbury took over the reins.

Men's Basketball went 11-20 this season and found a new head coach in Tubby Smith after Chris Walker ran the team as the interim head coach. Women's Basketball finished third in the Big 12 and went to the NCAA Tournament with a 1st round loss to South Florida.

The Spring sports have been strong with both golf teams playing at a high level. The women's golf and women's tennis team earned NCAA berths and the Tennis team will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament next week.

The Baseball and softball teams are having down years this spring, but the indoor and outdoor track have had decent seasons ranked in the Top 20 throughout the season.
